Swede Martin Jacobson wins $10m 2014 WSOP Main Event

Australian Gambling – Martin Jacobson, aged just 28, has cashed over $5.5 million in winnings across his career, but had never won a major live poker tournament.

But that all changed yesterday when he outwitted and outsmarted eight of the best poker players in the world to be crowned the World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table champion.

The Swede’s victory not only tripled his career winnings, with the monstrous $10 million dollar purse, but also gave him the symbolic – $500,000 – WSOP gold bracelet, a symbol of his win in poker’s greatest event.
